Pushead Galore, May 2007.

In the month of May, we experience a wave of Pushead related merchandise, Besides shirts and board designs for ‘conspiracy’ skates.

First up, we were invited to witness an offering well worth the wait. In honour, of the 10th Anniversary celebration of Pushead’s ‘Únofficial’ fan site, “Pusfan.com”. The site was offering an exclusive SkullPirate, Pusfan.com Edition. The Skullpirate figure, is a collaboration between Pushead and Secret Base.
The Website version was offered to all mailing list subscribers. Each figure cost USD 85.00 (inc S+H), In addition to the figure, every order will include 2 Stickers and a blue bandana. This edition is the 9th Variation in the series of Skullpirate.
A fan favorite amongst, Pushead collector, this Skullpirate has a metallic blue color way. Unlike the earlier 2 variation the ‘Dessert Gold’& ‘Berrystomper’ which had clean, bold colors on. The Pusfan version, Had a weathered look and an added touch of rustic toning, You could have swore that it was part of Pushead’s drawing Coming to life.

Not to be outdone, 26th May, Rumble Monster was offering a ‘Hot Lava’, Mimi-Damnedron at their webstore. The color scheme is designed by Pushead, and painted by Rumble Monster’s premier painter, Wakahara. Each figure stands at 31/2 inches and cost JPY 3,000. Item was an instant sold out.
Almost immediately, the Mini’s were up for sale at Yahoo Japan Auction, The current secondary value for the ‘Hot Lava, Mini-Damnedron’ is JPY 15,000. Now how’s that for hotness..
