2013 ThreeA 3AA Membership Package.

ThreeA a toy company which comprises of Toys Designed By Artist Ashley Wood is currently in it's 5th year of Membership.
2013 membership drive was conducted on the 15th Jan 2013 (HKG Time: 9 am ) and application lasted for 24th Hours. The usd 180 package includes of a 15% toy discount for all purchase at www.bambalandstore.com & a box of merchandise which are made up of print's, tee shirt & 1/6 figure...

Fast foward 4 months, on the 10th of May 2013, my member ship package finally arrived. I have to agree that this is the best 3AA package ever. Initially during the pre-order stage, I was a bit skeptical on the Blanc Hunter figure. I honestly didn't like how the figure looked in the promo picture. It seems to have an worn out Olive drap color which wasn't appealing. The final product came out better IMO, it was weathered white and could blend with the other white based 3A figures I owned.

Hero Cross (formerly known as 86 Hero) presents these Regular white Stormtrooper from Star Wars as the 5th installment of their cutting edge Hybrid Metal Figuration line, each of which are made of approximately 70% alloy and 30% PVC.

The Stormtrooper is approximately 14cm Tall with approximately 20 points of articulation. Set Contains: Main figure, Blaster carbine, Optional hand parts x 4, & a figure base with standee.

An influential Sci-Fi magazine that had shaped the minds of current Sci-fi/Fantasy's Artist, Writers & Movie makers. It's current publisher "Kevin Eastman" had continued the legacy to publish the adult theme comics till this day & onwards.
I am proud to announced that one of my source of influence & artist, Mr Kow Yokoyama had illustrated the upcoming April 2013, issue # 262. It simply depicts he most familiar environment, a female combatant & his signatures SAF in the background. Mr Kow, created the Ma.k universe since the 80's under Hobby Japan, since then SF3D or currently called Ma.k/ Maschinen Kruger has a cult following amongst model kit enthusiasts.

I hope there is a small story in the magazine for a long desired Ma.k comic :)

New Post for A New Year.....2013

The 3rd month of 2013 kick's in & thought I changed my blog background to reflect the recent toy I unearthed in my storage.
My loving Kenner Vintage 13" Boba Fett Figure. Crude by today's realistic standard, it is a fan favorite & quite sort after. My current Star Wars resurgent is due to my fondness of the current 'Clone Wars' cartoon. I've been setting up some Clone trooper, well that's a tale for another blog entry.

ThreeA, 3A, Re-Venture (RVHK) April 27th to May 4th 2012

I have been contemplating on going to 3A Reventure in Hong Kong for the pass few months. At a point I was even sure I wasn't going at all. Hong Kong during that period was so impossible the hotel rates were very high. Somehow surprises comes in many forms, my RVHK related happiness came in a form of an Invitation card for the RVHK Party on the 27th April 2012..

The rest is history, everything fell into place. Manage to pack my bags and looking forward to visit Hong Kong again & attend RVHK.

ThreeA, Reventure Party Invitation Card

2 of the 4 TK masquerade mask given (Kenshiro-Orange/ Kiba-Black/ Hideo-Yellow & Aki - Black w/o beard). I was lucky that my loving wife accompanied me to the event. We even had Ashley Wood put his signature on it.

Upon entering ThreeA central, we were greeted by a wall of figures released from their 4 yrs catalog (Not shown). One of the spectacles that greeted us on the left was the 1:1 lifesize Peaceday Dropcloth from Ashley's WWR series. It is accompanied my his trusty side kick, the peaceday Mk1 square. 

Here is a quick rundown of what seen on Party nite, 27th April.

A) Nom de Plum & TK Baka made an appearance. The TQ came too (not pictured)

B) 1:1 severed Leg, one of the 4 that was displayed.

C) Giant Kitty stood protecting the back of the room.

D) The wall of 3A figures, featured are Fantome de plume, RVHK Hideo, EMGY Trooper & one of Audrey's severed foot.
